Christmas Recipes

Ladies,

I know that many of you have requested recipes and I am trying to get those together and post those so here are some of them.....

Maynard Ginger Cookies
3/4 cup of shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
2 cups flour

Cream sugar and shortening then add the remainder of the ingrediants except the flour and mix, lastly add flour Roll into small balls and then roll in sugar bake at 375 for approx. 8 minutes.

Christmas Hot Chocolate

2 pounds powdered sugar
2 pounds powdered coffee creamer
2 pounds powdered milk
2 pounds Nesquick chocolate powder

Mix in LARGE bowl until combined and cover tightly it will last a long time and takes 1/4 cup to 6-8 oz. of hot water.
